Data from Luther5 Buchanan (James4 Henry, Alexander3, Joseph2, Alexander1)
|
Jean Buchanan, daughter of Alexander Buchanan and Rachel Van Schaick his wife, was born April 6, 1776. She married Johnathan Morgan and I think had 8 children. Jean Morgan lived and died a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Cumberland County KY and was buried in the Church Graveyard Jan. 12 or thereabouts AD 1833 on the headwaters of Crocus Creek.
Johnathan Morgan husband of Jean Morgan, was a farmer and after the death of his wife removed to Overton County TN and lived with his son Alexander B. Morgan near Obeys River and at his sons house was buried about one mile from his place. I think he died AD 1838 or 1839.
