In the name of God amen I Aaron Ashbrook of the North Branch of Great Capecapon of Frederick County in Virginia being weak in body and in a languishing condition yet through the mercy of God of a sound and perfect understanding and memory do constitute this my last Will and Testament and desire it may be received by all as such.

Imprimes I most humbly bequeath my soul to God who gave it and I give my body to the earth from whence it was taken to be buried in a decent manner at the discretion of my dear wife and Executors as to my worldly estate I will and positively order that all my debts be paid.

Item 1 give to my dear and loving wife all my personal estate both household goods creatures and husbandry utensils and I give to my Eldest son John the plantation whereon I now live lying on the North Branch of Great Capecapon all cost and charges for surveying composition money and patent to be paid out of my present estate and I do constitute Hannah my loveing wife Executrix and John Parke Junior Executor of this my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this 6th day of February and in the year of our Lord 1750/51.

At a Court held for Frederick County on Tuesday the 13 day of Aug. 1751 this Last Will and Testament of Aaron Ashbrook deceased was proved in open court by the oaths of William Thomas and John Thomas who swore they saw Samuel Perrey sign the same as an evidence and Hannah Ashbrook the Executrix (John Park Junior the other Executor having refused to take on him the burden of the Execution of the said Will) having made oath to the same according to law it was admitted to record.

This 120 acres was probably the lower portion of the 400 acres tract left by Aaron Ashbrook at his death.
