2. William Alexander Buchanan was listed on the 1850 Census of Morgan County IL and the 1860 Census of Springfield, Sangamon County IL. His first wife died in Waverly, Morgan County IL. He and his second wife moved to Arcadia, Crawford County Kansas in 1867.

3. Isaac Hudson Buchanan was listed with the William Alexander Buchanan on the 1850 Census of Morgan County IL. He never married and went with William Alexander Buchanan and family to Kansas and died there.

4. James Monroe Buchanan was on the 1860 Census of Macoupin County IL.
